Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom and Knowledge

“I look to you my father in heaven, and I call on you my brother who is in my heart. Listen to words of this earnest prayer. I know now and believe in the truth that has been made manifest in the flesh which is me. It is me you have counted and paired alongside my brother Jesus to be joint-heirs in what has been commonly known as “The Christ.” In the outpouring of your spirit you have lifted me up and I have been hand picked amongst your chosen people in a particular election in order that I may partake in a mission coordinated by the true purposes of God.

I know your purposes and your laws of love for you have written them in my heart. And I know the terms of the new covenant; the agreement sealed with blood, granting blessings and eternal life in return for my love and obedience.

But as I receive each day the blessings that come my way with thanksgiving, father I simply ask you that you be gracious to me as I seek your face. And as I find my passion and style that I might properly serve you within the body of your chosen generation, here and now on earth, I ask you humbly that you grant me the…
